Glowbus® Dewdrop

The Dewdrop is the foundation of the Glowbus® collection. Its unique and idiosyncratic design makes it the eye-catcher of your garden. Timeless as it is, it feels at home in both a sleek minimalist city garden and a monumental classic park garden.

The Glowbus® Dewdrop is perfectly equipped to withstand the most extreme elements. Temperatures from -1000° C to 1000° C are no problem and thanks to its robust shape and weight it can easily withstand gusts of wind up to 200 km/h.

Dewdrop Shield: Protection for Vulnerable Surfaces

Protect your delicate surfaces, such as natural stone or hardwood decks, with the Dewdrop Shield. This innovative shield is specially designed to insulate the heat from your Glowbus® Dewdrop, even after hours of intensive use. Made from extremely heat-resistant materials, developed for heavy-duty industrial applications, the Dewdrop Shield offers protection against temperatures up to 500°C.

The Dewdrop Shield has been extensively tested under extreme conditions. In a test where the Dewdrop M was heated to 1,004°C, the temperature under the ash plate reached 340°C after 1.5 hours. Under the Dewdrop Shield, however, the underground temperature remained limited to only 77°C, which equates to an impressive temperature reduction of 76.4%. This means you can enjoy your Dewdrop without any worries, without the risk of damage to your patio.

You buy your Glowbus® for life. Because we believe in sustainable and ecologically responsible products. Glowbus only works with rock-solid materials, and we ensure that you can enjoy your Glowbus® moment every day for at least a lifetime.

With every purchase of a Glowbus® Dewdrop, the artist donates an amount to an organization that is committed to nature conservation, with which 25 new trees are planted. In this way, we work together, tree by tree, to create a phenomenal Glow Forest.

Glowbus® resolutely chooses the most sustainable materials. This is the only way to guarantee the longest possible lifespan. We want you to be able to enjoy your Glowbus® without any worries. We do not participate in the hassle of rusting through, fire baskets that fall apart or that you have to replace every few years. The choice for Corten Steel ensures an 8x longer lifespan than regular steel. This is how we minimize our share in the throwaway society.

Handmade craftsmanship

Each Glowbus® Dewdrop is handmade in Belgium, with an eye for detail and quality. The ideal blend between raw simplicity and pure outdoor luxury. The Glowbus® Dewdrop is available in 3 sizes. Dewdrop M feels most at home in compact areas such as a terrace or smaller garden. The Dewdrop L is extremely suitable for larger gardens, and the largest member - the Dewdrop XL - adorns large park and landscape gardens or creates an experience in hotels and tourist locations.

All Dewdrop models can be supplied with a personalised ash plate with a text message of maximum 35 characters (incl. spaces) or logo.

Made of high quality Corten steel

The Glowbus Dewdrop is made of durable Corten Steel. The Dewdrop M and L are made of 10 mm Corten Steel and the XL variant no less than 12 mm !! Although Corten Steel gets a beautiful rust color, it is also this rust layer that gives the material its legendary protection against the elements (and therefore also against rusting through).

Placing the Glowbus® Dewdrop

Because of its weight (Dewdrop M = 150 kg, Dewdrop L = 220 kg, Dewdrop XL = 425 kg) this design fire basket is a keeper that you would rather not lug around your garden every week. The Dewdrop M and L can be moved quite quickly by rolling the fire basket on its side. The ash plate is not attached to the fire basket. The Dewdrop XL requires a bit more power and is usually put in place with a mechanical lifting device.
